go into the Peace Corps

Actually this goal is coming along okay. I’ve been looking into it and found out that i can do this and grad school simultaneously.. I have to go to grad school for 2 years and do my LA training and then they will send me somewhere and i will do my major project there.. so i’ll actually be able to implement my ideas which is the really cool part.

Well…wow…that’s all I can say…they’ve already turned me down. My cabinet and I believe it may have something to do with the question as to whether I have more than $5000 in debt. I’ll graduate from law school in December, OF COURSE I have more than $5000 in debt…what it didn’t ask is whether I’m willing to sell mylaptop, car, Precious Moments collection, television, and other worldly goods to get myself out of debt and make my Peace Corps vision a reality…I don’t know that I’ve ever failed so miserably at something in my entire life…I can’t think of any…this is going to be tough to get over…The PC doesn’t want two years of my service…ouch.

I suppose this means that there is something else out there for me and that the PC just isn’t meant to be right now…This calls for extra focus for the Foreign Service Oral Assessment. Extra extra focus…

Well, it is certainly a long process, but the application is almost complete. I’m waiting on my final letter of recommendation. C’mon Clay Miller, get it done!
