I wish I knew even the first thing about sewing… I have some great ideas though that I really want to bring to life so I suppose I’ll have to figure it out. My plan is to start by embellishing already constructed clothing and hopefully that will naturally progress to learning more and investing in more tools.

This week’s goal will be to design a summer top and a find a piece to work on. I love the excuse to go to a thirft or vintage store! 3 years ago

I made three dresses (two formal and one sundress) and one skirt for my recent cruise. They all looked great!

I am making three dresses and a skirt for the cruise I will go on in three and a half weeks. Two dresses and one skirt are done (except one dress top needs to be adjusted and everything needs to be hemmed. I will start on the last dress tonight and I have set a date with my mom to hem everything. Looking forward to completing this goal! 6 years ago

I have now finished one formal dress, one skirt and I am working on a cute sundress. I haven’t hemmed anything yet because it is difficult to do so on yourself, first, and second, I am working on losing some weight between now and the cruise, so I want to make sure the clothes are easy to alter when it gets close to the time I’d like to wear them!
I have another formal dress lined up to make once this sun dress is done. I also have a pattern for some capri pants that I can work on next, but we’ll see when I get to that point.
