be a CSS guru

Okay, so guru is a pretty bold statement, so I think its kind of an exaggeration, but I’m feeling pretty confident in my skills. There are so many other aspects of my work I’d like to improve upon and perfect, so I’m marking this one done.

I am pretty confident in my CSS abilities, but I am not a guru. Not yet. Even though I can use floats and clears effortlessly, I still struggle finding a simple way to explain it to others, which I need to learn to do. I also don’t know how to work the clip property very well, which is also something I’ve been asked. A few other random things I have to look up from time to time that I feel like I shouldn’t.

But an even larger issue is that there is a lot in CSS3 that I’ve ignored learned about because I figure that if something won’t work in IE6, I shouldn’t both. I’m realizing that this excuse won’t fly for long, and I’ve got to get with the times and do some more learning.

Hmm, I’m not sure when I can check this off.

I don’t think I can now, because I tried to explain floats and clearing them to a friend of mine and I wasn’t very coherrant.

When the time comes to check this off, I think I’ll know.
