Manage money better

I’ve mostly caught up on entering our finances into the budgeting program. Still waiting on hubby to help me figure out the other features.

Once again I kind of know what to do but times are hard. It is really hard to trying to save money in these times. I have already completed my masters for a pay raise now I need a second job until the raise kicks in. So my plan this month look for a second job and save some many each month.

I really need to create a better budget for myself. I shop too much!! I need to get more organized with managing my money!

to manage our checkbook, plus we’re using Mvelopes for budgeting.

We tried myspendingplan.com but there were too many bugs. We especially didn’t like the way it did splits (it shows a split as separate transactions which makes it difficult to reconcile with the bank statement).

We are using Mvelopes now, which seems to be much better. We are definitely thinking about our money differently.

ha ha.

They are nice to have in an emergency, but not if you aren’t very disciplined and they get you in trouble!
