lovestorun ate all the jaffa cakes!

Untitled 3 days ago

Today I started being organised! I did my washing (that’s dishes and clothes!!!) Hung up my washing too. I also vaccum my room! And I sorted out all my clothes, which is going to make life a lot easier! So I’m happy I made a start!

Next I need to sort out which clothes to throw out (and I’m not just going to bin them, I find a donating box or something!). I really want to de-clutter and I have way too many clothes, doesn’t help that I have like 4 types of clothes and completely impulsive when it comes to shopping.

I work in two different places that requires completely different sorts of clothes, so thats two. Then I don’t like wearing those clothes when I’m not at work so I have just everyday clothes and then I have slob/pjs clothes for when I’m at home. I really need to condense this clothes business and then stop buying more! we’ll see how I get on with that :)

sorting out my email inbox 3 days ago

i have been re-organising my emails. creating and sorting the ones i wanted to keep into folders. and all the other deleting them and trust me its a big job. its been about 4 days that i have been doing this and im only about half way through.

because i used to subscibe to a lot of email newsletter subscriptions for everything under the sun over the last 5 years, that i ended up having wait for it…
over 27500 unread emails!!!! so i have been sifting through, re-orgainisng, moving into folders, unsubscribing subscriptions and deleting like mad!!!! im currently on 15458 unread emails. so getting there slowly. i think im going to add this as a goal to my 43 things list actually. to bring the number to say nil or under 10 each day and then to stay on top of it

i went to block busters and monsoon to hand in the application forms.

blockbusters for part/full time eve work only

monsoon for part time 4 hour shift only on sat or sunday not sure yet. hopefully get positive response from both. at blockbusters the manager said someone was leaving in 3 weeks so hopefully i will get it.

monsoon is just a 4 hour shift on the weekend so is not a big deal and hopefully i can get that. every little bit helps!

reorganised 3 months ago

my bookshelf today, as it was a total state, books and other nik naks all over the place, just a total mess.
now all books are organised and in sections according to fiction and non fiction. and the non fiction section is divided into the various subjects, so i can easily find what book i am looking for. and i can see every single book, whereas before i had books hidden behind books and i didnt know what i had anymore
now that it is organised i can see what i have, and decided what i want to read.
there are some that i have read, and wouldnt mind reading again, but there are a lot i have bought and never ever read, and actually forgot about them.
so glad i did this, and looking forward to renewing my love for reading
