Electryone is eating popcorn
it will bw hard to find the time since I’m going to university but I’m going to try to find time to schedule it in.
i just signed up for a website called swimplan.com. i saw it on a previous post here and decided that i should try it :]
i am trying to get back in shape for high school swimming, and its really hard to without a set workout haha. so this should help :D
I love swimming… I love the sensation of the water against my skin and the fact that I am giving my whole bodya work out in one go, rather than having to lift weights for my arms and run for my legs etc etc.
My hospital have decided they are not happy for me to swim, but I’ve decided that I am going to do it anyway…. They’re concerned I might get a cramp… not that I might get an infection from the water, or anything like that. I am happy to take the chance… and besides, I swim one arm length from the pool side and there’s life guards patrolling… and I usually have someone swimming with me.
But I am going to do it regardless!
Recently I went to the pool and swam a couple laps. I came out sore and breathing hard…Time to get that year-long pass :D
Hannah looking forward to the weekend.....
Worth doing!
I go twice a week and do 64 lengths each time as this is 1 mile in my local pool. It’s a great all round body exercise and if you’re trying to lose weight it’s good as the water supports your body weight.
Just got some goggles so going to try and start swimming properly! Off to the pool after work!
I still can’t do it and I probably never will. I give up! Breaststroke works too, I can even win my age group in a triathlon with it. That’s all I want, really!
..and I’m working on my front crawl swimming style. I have no stamina, though… :)) Yet.
25 minutes walk from my home is see. I really have to give my best to use summer wisely and swim as often as I can. No excuses possible.
