I have to blame my disease (Lyme Disease) for this. One of the symptoms is severe insomnia. But my doctor called in a prescription to help me, and I slept like a LOG last night. Three cheers for benzodiazipines! 5 months ago

Yesterday I took a “quick nap” that turned out to be about three hours, and I still slept the night through. Sheesh, that’s tired. Going to bed at 11:00 now, and hope the trend continues. 15 months ago

I purchased a sunset/sunrise alarm clock that simulates dawn and dusk. It came today, so I will program it to wake me up with the new “dawn” tomorrow. I also got the sunlight simulator lamps to help me through the dim winter months. 15 months ago

With the help of my husband and a few visiting friends (thanks Laura and Lisa!), it was lights out at 11:00 pm. I was still unable to sleep until midnight, but it sure beats 3 am. I woke shortly before dawn, and went for a walk and listened to the birdies. It was very nice. 15 months ago
