I really am in love with idea of handwritten letters. I have completely romanticised the idea, especially now that e-mail and cell phones are the prevailant form of communication…so I’m proposing something; if you’re reading this and want a random letter, postcard, or package, leave me a few sentences about your interests, and things you hold dear, and (if it doesn’t make you uncomfortable) your address.
It will be something of a suprise for you, and will give me a reason to create and interact. Who knows where this small idea could go, if you decide to do it too.

mejaka is on the preferred substitute list--for Project. Weird.
They’re so short, it’s always fun to figure out what to put on them that will fit and still have freshness and meaning. i’ve used postcardX.com for a long time; before that I traded postcards through Cafe Utne online (and still occasionally do). I’ve got a few good friends from Utne, all from trading a few postcards. I’ve also sent postcards to folks in my town with pretty gardens or holiday decorations, just letting them know I enjoy their efforts.

I picked up a bunch of antique postcards the other day. Mostly rare ones of andy warhol (and my personal favorite)Dylan Thomas. I also grabbed some old haunted/haunting photos and religious relics. My friends are going to be so spoiled when I finally get around to sending them packages. This makes me feel very good.
