Acco3 is feeling blue due to rainny season.
I decided to save money to buy a good air clearner.
How I did it: I went to pet helpers and adopted a kitten. It was a disaster. Pet helpers is horrible and I got harrassed for my age, etc. The cat was evil, but I fell in love with him. He terrorized everything and attacked me and my guests all the time. Then, I had to leave my apartment and move where there are no pets allowed and they made me feel like a criminal animal abuser for returning him. It wasn't good. I don't think I want a cat again. How I did it: well for about 6 months nonstop my sister pestered my mom to get a dog and there was absolutely no way she was going to do that because there would be nonone to mind it during the day. so my mom compromised and allowed us to get a cat as we had had one previously, once we decided to get a cat i think it took less than a month to actually get it. How I did it: I wasn't sure I could commit to having a cat, so I started fostering cats. I googled and found the local foster cat organization and said I could do one at a time. The third was so spunky and curious and mischievous I felt I had to keep him, but I still wasn't sure I could commit. He ended up getting adopted but was so rambunctious at his new home that his new owner returned him. I picked him up from his adoptive h… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I bought my first two cats - Abby and Erin - shortly after my 22nd birthday. They were sisters, born Mother's Day 2006, and both absolutely adorable. I brought them home in a box in the car (with my mother's help!), and two years on they were joined by little stripey Belle. They are all gorgeous - very cuddly, and extremely purry. They get on great with the three dogs (although having six pets can sometimes be… Read how I did it…

I’m only fifteen so I can’t just ‘get’ a pet, and my family already owns two Terriers so I don’t think they’d be very happy at a new feline addition to the family, but someday, I would like to own a cat. :)

My girlfriend has declared herself a cat hater. She is fond of the phrase “never say never” – not however when it applies to the ownership of cats. harumph
Both of my family cats have died recently as a result of my parents divorce and it has been really hard. It just adds a little more meaning to this goal because my first cat with be in memory of the injustice and in honor of my independence.

Cats are great pets, i have 2 that ive had for years (Vladimir and Freckles). But you have to remember, cats are a comitment. If you have them you have to look after them, they dont just stay kittens! I would also like to remind everyone that getting cats//kittens from a shelter is a great idea and that you should get your pets sterilised. The number of people who allow there pets to have a litter, then take them to the pound is deplorable, because often these animals are put down. Thats my rant over!
