With the upcoming election here in France, there is high potential that obtaining nationality is going to become more difficult. (Sadly, mostly likely it won’t be as hard for me as it for many others.) But, I think I should get the process started as soon as possible. It will take some time for new rules to come into place and if I have already opened my “dossier” then it will go much smoother. So, I just need to walk up the street to the Mairie and find out what documents I need. A very simple first step…it is 5 minutes away. 6 years ago
