learn to cornrow

I want to grab my dreams and run with them, Im always pondering or dreaming of how my life would be if i had this job or that career. I want to actually put my dreams into action, for me and my beautiful family. I also have 4 children 3 of them girls, I so need to learn how to do hair better than i do now .

now i can braid my daughter’s hair myself!!

i have been paying people to cornrow my daughter’s hair for a while now. she has soft thick african american hair and it hard to hold a style. so i decided to save my money and learn to cornrow. i have been practicing on her Dora doll from tutorials i watch on youtube.

I went to a lady whose daughters have the most beautiful designs and I asked her to teach me. She was more than happy to do so and I braided my daughters hair. It is not as tight as hers and I can only braid straight back right now, but, it’s a wonderful start.

I used to be the only black woman in America that couldn’t cornrow! Now I can finally cross this off the list as of Sept. 20. If I can do it, anybody can! Here is a link to the site that helped me:
