went to Vegas for my bday. As a gift my biff got me a pedi. SO amazing! I feel like all of my shoes just look that much cuter. Also has stayed on for over a week now!! just need to stop biting my nail for a bit so i can finally get a manicure…can’t wait.
How to get a manicure and pedicure
How I did it: All throughout junior high and high school I always heard my friends telling me that they were getting mani's and pedi's. Personally, I always preferred clear nails or doing my nails myself. I just didn't understand the hype. But for my senior prom I decided, I was gonna go all out. I wanted to look good so I got them done, both a manicure and a pedicure and the total cost? $35. Was it worth it? No it looked like shit, I would've preferred my clear nails. I highly doubt that my date and my best friends would even care if I got it done. Most people compliment your hair and your dress or your shoes not really your nails. Worst $35 ever spent.
Lessons & tips: Ask yourself if it's really worth it? and what is it gonna do for you?

It’s been a while since I went to get a manicure because I usually do my own nails, but today I went to a nail salon and got a french manicure and pedicure. It came out nice, but some of the polish on my fingernails are already chipping off. I tried to be gentle when I handled things, but it’s rather difficult because I don’t mind getting dirty. In the future, I think I’ll stick to doing my own nails and will probably only go to a nail salon again for special occasions.
I went with my aunt to get a manicure and pedicure and it was ok. I didn’t get acrylic nails but I got a french manicure for both. My hands lasted only like 5 days and feet lasted about a week or more. I mean i wouldn’t keep spending money on it as a everyday thing but i guess it was alright.

I think I may have gotten my nails done once for a high school dance. But I know I have never had a pedi and I think it would be nice to get them done! I’m hard on my hands, I’m constantly working on projects, so I think it’d be a nice little treat. I’ve avoided anything “girly” for a long time because I’ve always regarded myself as sort of a Tomboy and resistant to those things, but I’ve decided my kick-butt attitude will remain, even if my hands look nice. :)

I’ve done this and it feels so good. Do it when you’ve worked hard and it will be so rewarding! Props to the people who do this line of work, they have some courage to deal with some ugly hands and feet.

I got both this past Monday! Sadly, the manicure only lasted about 5 days (I am too active with my hands), but the pedicure is still going strong! It was worth every cent just to feel extra pretty for the occasion of seeing my parents :D
ha ha havent written in this thing in ages. my boyfriend reminded me about it yesterday! – god it sucks though, when you grow your all your nails all nice and long and it takes soooo much friggen time i swear and then just ONE of them breaks and gives you a retarded looking hand… arrr!

When I was younger, I used to regularly get manicures and pedicures all the time. Now that I am older, I realize that I only prefer to do this combination when I have a special function to go to. It saves money, and feels like an extra special reward when I only do the full ‘shabang’ every now and again! Besides, I don’t really like having my nails done very much because it’s just such a fussy process. I hate waiting for them to dry! And I am too active, so I use my hands a lot. It bums me out when the manicure fades so quickly due to my constant usage :D
