Become a body piercer

how do you become a body piercer?

I just found this blogging system and read a few posts about body piercing. Does anyone want to answer this question: How does one become a body piercer? Apprenticing? Training? How do you become licensed?

I’ve been interested in body modification since I was 11 [I’m 16 now] and just recently, I had considered possibly becoming a professional piercer. Now, I do my own piercings [I mean, how can I trust myself to put a hole in someone’s body if I haven’t gotten that same hole in my own?] so I’ve been practicing. ^{_^ My retired piercings include spetum 3x, labret 3x, double nostrils, and eyebrow. Currently I have my off-center labrets done, left ear 6x, right ear 3x, and my tongue [3 days old!]. I’ve also pierced my fiance’s center labret [perfectly straight, absolutely centered]. I plan on completing my piercing project by piercing my own bridge, cheeks, septum, double nostril, and inverse navel.}

I love body piercings, and i love tattoos. However, since i suck at art, i would love to do the next best thing in body art, and that’s piercings. My cousin is a professional piercer and she has inspiered me to take up the same steps she does. I have my septum pierced and i’m getting my lip double pierced. I only have one tattoo, but i’m getting 3 more. one on each forearm, and one on my left shoulder. I am in training right now to be a piercer, and i can’t wait until i get to pierce my first victim… errr, uhh, i mean client!
