How I did it: Following the couch to 5K program and not eating out as much. After my runs, I do about half an hour on the elliptical. Packing my lunch instead of eating out saves me money and calories. We don't have money to order in or eat out really so that has been a big help. As a result I have now lost 12lbs and weight less than I have in years. I can't wait to lose even more. Read how I did it…

I am happily under 163lbs now. This means I am no longer obese for my height, which makes me happy.
So far I’ve dropped from my initial weight, which hovered between 200 and 210, to about 185. 160 seems like it will be a reasonable target for a healthy weight, but it’ll be easier to tell in about 2 months, probably.
I am going to have lap banding in almost 2 weeks in order to reach this goal. I am on my way!!!
right now i’m at 175. 160 is my first milestone goal for the ultimate end result that i’m looking for. I’m ready to put forth some effort!

I think that body fat percentage is really what I am after so I am going to continue my weight loss tracking under the goal of “reach 10% bodyfat”. I will be a lot healthier, will most likely be able to see my abs, and won’t need to obsess about the number of pounds.

I really want to get below 200 – I will be so cool to be 199 and less for the first time in a long time… But if I reach 160 and I am not at 10% bodyfat, I will lose more weight to get to the bodyfat % goal…

This is day 8 and I down to 207 from 215—a pound a day… Yeah! Can I stick it out? I hope so!

I will weigh later today. Last I checked I was in the 215 to 218 range. I have been juice fasting for 6 days now so I hope at least that I am not over that weight. My resting pulse is down to 55. At least there is some sign of progress. I am starting to see my rib cage a little bit more but I have 50 pounds to lose so I am sure there are abs under there somewhere!
