I’m doing well on this one.

My step-daughter came to visit on Monday and I phoned one of my long term friends last night and had a good chat on the phone. It was great to talk to both of them and made me feel really good.

Phone my brother today. Haven’t spoken to him since Christmas. It was good to catch up with him.

Phone my Gran tonight as it’s her Birthday. I think she was really pleased to hear from me.

I sent an emal to a group of friends apologising for my lack of contact lately. Was really pleased to think I done something towards this goal

had a nice, brief chat with mom on the drive home from work today. sister tammy would be proud to hear that she was not, in fact, sleeping when I called, but was giving the bathroom a thorough cleaning in preparation for new rugs and curtains. that’s mom, always full of surprises!

I finally got myself out of the office on the early train. amazing how much more willing I am to place calls and talk on the phone when I feel like I have some down time! I tried my girl Vee first and immediately upon walking in the door. We’ve been trying to connect for months now! alas, she was not available. so as not to lose steam, I tried Sister Bonny next. she was in the process of leaving work and so had to call me back and, can you believe it, I actually still felt like talking!? Sister Tammy left me a message as I was finishing the call with Sister Bonny, but she’ll have to wait a day or two for a call back. this phone thing is not something to be rushed into!
