Honestly, I had been thinking of getting my monroe pierced for months.
However, it was always just a silly fantasy of mine,
I had never seriously contemplated it for the fact I never
thought my parents would allow me to get it.
However, on May 5, 2008 My mother randomly asked me if I wanted it done,
And, on a whim I agreed.
I was really not prepared at all, and
had no idea what to expect,
But when we got down to the tattoo/piercing shop,
The owner,
Had my mother and I fill out some paper work,
and took us into the back room.
He had me sit down, marked the spot where
he was going to pierce me,
and gave me a mirror to confirm it.
After I did, he pierced it.
It didn’t hurt very much at all,
The bleeding was minimal.
A few moments later,
I was looking in the mirror admiring my new piercing.
Now one crucial thing; DO NOT GET IT INFECTED!
It was cause you tremendous pain.
Luckily, Mine did not get infected.
Also, Moroes are not a piercing that needs to be extremely babied.
I simply rinsed my mouth with an antiseptic mouthwash twice a day,
Brushed my teeth 3 times,
And cleaned the outside of it with regular soap and water on a q-tip
about 3-4 times daily.
Easy.
And now, almost 3 months later,
I am completely satisfied with
An extremely lovely piercing which I adore (:
I hope your experience goes as well as mine!!
