Lani is hoping for the best.
Alright, new plan:
9am – Wake up
9:15-9:45 – Row
9:45-10:00 – Brunch, coffee, vitamin
10:00-11:00 – Shower, dress, etc.
From there, I’ll look for jobs, etc and I’ll figure out a daytime plan, but the mornings are the starting point and without a routine there, the rest of my days tend to stagger along a path of merely hoped-for productivity.

Lani is hoping for the best.
I’ve been working from home for a few months and while this isn’t completely ideal, it’s certainly better than many alternatives. The problem, however, is that I often get up at 8:30 or 9:00, start work immediately, and don’t take a shower or get dressed until 11am or 12pm when I’ve finished a short shift.
This is just gross, kids.
So each morning, regardless of when the clock rings or when my shift starts, I need to get up, have breakfast, take a shower, get dressed, and put on a minimal amount of makeup. In an ideal world, I will also take a long walk or exercise in some way before doing these things, but first things first, eh?
