remodel the house

We currently are renting this fantastic house, and hope that eventually we can buy it. So I thought I’d start to plan what I would do to remodel it if we are blessed with the opportunity to purchase it. It’s got great bones, is huge, and is set on the prettiest lot in the area. But it was built in the late 50’s early 60’s and needs a great deal of updating to make it the showcase it could be. I figure by doing this “Pipe Dream Remodel” well have a better idea of what it will cost and what is involved if we do it. The great thing is we can do about 90% of the work ourselves, which should save us a lot!
