How I did it: I was very much against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq so I researched it as much as possible. During my research, I came across various protests being held and decided to go along. It was an incredible experience, especially the protest I went to in London with 1 million people. The sense of community, a shared goal, and knowing you're actually getting out there and doing something. Memories of the 2000 Democratic Natl. Convention protest in LA…...... It was definitely both a fun and deeply felt experience which I’ll always be proud of and never forget, but I think I gave up having any faith in political activism after the 2004 election.
