How I did it: I walked out during teacher strike when I was in grade 9. There where also those from the middle school who did this, and the principal called the police cuz he's a little bitch. The cops came and told us to keep up the good work, it's a shame the cops here now are a bunch of pricks. Read how I did it…

I’ve always had strong beliefs, just never the guts to defend them in public!
I think standing up to wat u truly believe in is the most enduring thing ! after watchin rang de basanti….I m a rebel ! :D
I protested with “Stop the war”. Amazing atmosphere and well worth the lack of voice the next day :)
Bush was in WV the other day, and I was out with my sign saying “Honk if you Hate Bush”. It was awesome.

Public demonstration makes you feel as if you are helping to change things…even when nothing changes, you’ve made a stand.
I started a petition to have stricter anti-bullying rules instituted on Hush Day (a special event with prizes) at my school. Everyone freaking hated me, but I think I made a difference… Hey, isn’t that on my list? Woot! I can check it off now!
Protest KFC! They’re cruel to chickens! And it’s really fun to hold up a sign that says, “HONK IF YOU HATE KFC!” and get everyone angry and honking! YAY!
Memories of the 2000 Democratic Natl. Convention protest in LA…...... It was definitely both a fun and deeply felt experience which I’ll always be proud of and never forget, but I think I gave up having any faith in political activism after the 2004 election. Nowadays I am content with simply changing my world…and through that, perhaps incrementally push the world at large toward a more harmonious direction.
