see a stage production of Equus

I saw the one with Daniel Radcliffe in it. I think the play is brilliant but it’s too wordy. Too much monologues and maybe a little too much dialogue, as well. It definitely makes you think, and that’s cool too.

It was very interesting seeing Radcliffe in it – my image of him as Harry Potter isn’t tainted, though. I think he did a decent job of transforming his character away from himself, especially the latter part of the play. I can’t believe some people flew all the way there JUST to watch him in the show, though.

Looks like I won’t be hopping the pond to see this anytime soon, so I’m crossing it off and giving up. Oh well, I’m sure there will be reasons to spontaneously go to Europe again sometime.
