How to get a 4.0 this semester

How I did it: I never skipped class, did all of my readings and assignments, asked the professors questions, studied ahead of time for tests, and took detailed notes. Lessons & tips: Always go to class, even if you zone out part of the time. Just being in the classroom during a lecture helps you absorb the material. Resources: Always consult the syllabus! It has due dates and a class schedule so you know what you can expect in the class. It also has important information such as how your grade is calculated as well as when you can visit your professor in their office. |

so this time last week i took two tests.
i was pretty sure i was gonna fail both. all my hopes of this goal were gone.
well i found out today that the spanish one that i left half blank ended up giving me an 84.
i am soooo super lucky/i’m pretty sure it was God. or the fact that i stayed after and explained to my professor why i did so poorly and promising to him that i’m not a bad student.
i think i can still reach this goal. spanish will be a semi-easy A. poli sci…i’m getting better at it. everything else will be fine. i hope this will be okay.

okay enough with the song… I’ve had this goal for a while now and have finally gotten time to make it official. I’m less than a month away from the end of the semester. I have 7 As and 1 B… lets do this thing!!

I FINALLY achieved this…TWICE. I really busted my buns for the Fall of 2006 semester. I can honestly say that this semester was the hardest, but I was really dedicated and I finally got the 4.0. I recently found out I received another 4.0 for the Spring 2007 semester!

i am going to end up with a 3.0 this semester. i realize now that i need to apply myself and study a little everyday and stay on top of my homework. also, that i need to schedule classes so i have to go to school everyday about the same time so i get in a routine. i am making b’s without really trying, so a little effort and i know i would have made a’s. i am disappointed in myself but will use this experience to my advantage for next semester

today’s chem test will probably be the deciding factor if i get a 4.0 this semester or not. it’s not looking good.
