convoswplantsrise up in the kitchen

my girlfriend loves good quality bread, but i’m afraid it generally costs a fortune. no-knead bread is quite the thing these days and i’d love to give it a shot. who can say no to cheap, delicious handmade bread that your own fingers formed? 4 months ago

Nataly RoblesTry it!

I have baked several types of bread now. I must admit the first was a catastrophe but one gets the hang. Start small, try this amazing recipe from Paula Deen for dinner rolls.

italnolaNo Knead bread is the way to go

You can read the article about no Knead bread in the New York Times, but watching the video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13Ah9ES2yTU

Is the way to go. This recipe is so unbelievably easy and the bread is great. I’ve also tried the barely knead bread from American’s Test Kitchen and that’s pretty good, but I don’t mess with a good thing. ATK says that sometimes the basic no-knead bread doesn’t rise enough. I don’t worry about that. I’ve made the bread many many times and it is always tasty. Add rosemary. That’s really tasty. 10 months ago

lauradlovelybring warmth into the food

I don’t have time to be the domestic goddess that I had always imagined myself being. That being said, if I could have just one skill that my kids could remember, I wish that could be baking bread. I had a bread machine but I kind of think that is cheating. I think I will give it a go 12 months ago

d503smithJim Lahey's No-Knead Bread

I didn’t let it sit long enough for the flavors to really develop but the loaf looked gorgeous and was tasty enough. Good start. 15 months ago
