just by being on this planet, u impact someones life some way even if your only here for a few minutes
If people would only realize they can help change the world by doing the smallest things, such as turning the faucet off when you’re brushing your teeth, or turning off the television before going to bed, it would make a world of a difference. Recently, I’ve been walking places instead of driving to decrease emissions, volunteering at my local park to help beautify it, and picking up trash along the beach.

When you have goal such as this you either need super powers or small improvements.
I don’t have super powers so I’ll have to make the world a little better one day at a time.
Three weeks ago I got one of my colleagues a proper mug and glass to use in the office (instead of the vile and wasteful Polystyrene cups he uses in abundance)
This week I convinced two firends to donate blood with me. We all felt truly horrible afterwards and I’m not sure I’ll be able to convince tham again but at least they helped make the world a better place…
look i gotta change the world by my insight, or what i think is insight. i just need to know if other people see it the same screwed view i do , and if they wanna change it. if not all our dreams, wants, even fears will dissappear quickly.

I’m going to complete this goal by talking to 10 strangers about life.
I’ll knock one notch off with William, an 80+ year old disabled veteran in front of the Kroger on Ecorse Rd. in Taylor, Michigan. I asked if he needed water and we talked about Michigan’s bad economy, the lottery and VA housing. I left with a handshake and a nice to meet you.
I want to modernize third world countries. Build housing, hospitals, restore order, stop murders. Since 2003, four-hundred THOUSAND people have been murdered just in Dafur. This senseless violence can be brought to an end if we give people the ability to educate their own people. We build little shanties and give them pencils and call it a school. We give them cups of rice and broth and call it a meal. How about we give them the resources and the knowledge to develop their own things. You sleep inside 4 well insulated walls while they sleep on dirt with bugs and disease. They don’t know when they go to sleep if they are going to wake up in the morning. Let alone once they wake up, what they will have to eat. We need to set a standard code of modernization and technology. We need to eduacate our people. And by our people I mean everyone. We are all people through and through. We need to take the powerful warlords and rid them of their power. We need to change the world. We need a revolution.
I’m already doing this. I study, plan on getting a job as a scientist, so I can research things when I’m finished. I already pay attention to what I buy and use concerning the environment. My appearance (coloured hair and clothes) makes many people laugh, which makes me feel good. Even if they are laughing at me, at least I made someone happy for a while. That’s a good thing. I give money to charity.
So this goal is not so much about changing the world, because we all already are, but about how we want to change the world. I want to do something for people, really mean something. I’m a registered nurse, but don’t do anything with that right now as I’m studying. Maybe I should do something with it again. I haven’t quite figured out how I want to change the world. I’ll write an entry about it when I do.
how to change the world. I know what I want to do in life. I want to teach. What better way to leave your mark, what better way to change lives, than to teach kids?? I’m still in my last year of high school but I know that’s how I’m going to achieve this goal
