My 15 yr old loveable mutt recently died. I visited the Humane Society to just look at other dogs, and I was saddened by the number of old dogs people had simply abandoned. How could a person do that?? Most people will look right past an adult dog, especially once they get past 7, 8 years old..they’re not cute and energetic anymore, and health problems are starting to show themselves. I would like to give these innocents a happy place to live out their lives. Right now I don’t have the time or money to take on several dogs…but one at a time, I can. 8 years ago
