correspond regularly with someone by letter

i like using cards and newspaper articles, normal letters seem silly since they become all about me and tht’s not the point!

i think i’ll start clipping articles for people who may like them. that makes them feel that i’m thinking about them, and forces me to send letters!

my goal, one letter per month

I’ve been corresponding with my Grandmother Oakley by letter the past month.

My downstairs was occupied by a sleeping baby a couple of evenings this week so I wrote three letters and sent them out. One to my penpal, one to a boyfriend, and one to my sister.

I sent letters to three different people this week. I’ll try to send out two letters next week.

I lost a letter in May and haven’t written since. I’ll write her another letter confessing the loss.

And now I have another “penpal”. My boyfriend and I had a major mental meltdown last November. We’re going to start letter writing to get to know each other again.

I got a letter from my pen pal yesterday. Tonight I’ll read it and write one back.

The first letter went out today.

I’ve had a friend volunteer to correspond. We both want to get better about actual letter writing.
