fix my website

I can’t believe it took this long to straighten this mess out. Stupid portfolio! But it is done-the result is, I could not care less what happens with it now. I don’t care if I pass my committee, I’m just glad I don’t have to do the work anymore!

I have .VOB format DVD that needs to be edited and uploaded to the web-any suggestions what site could I edit the video (its an hour long), I don’t need the whole thing on line, just a portion . . .

So psyched about this! I just made a simple flash animation and used that for the entire site. And the timing was perfect. Right before I started work and the magazine comes out.

My goal is to change it every month!

This project, now undertaken, is the master of my world. Every once of time spent not doing this weighs on my heart and brain like an anchor.

Last Sunday, I fixed some things but broke some others. Now the site is messed up.

I was building an entire new site in Flash but realized that that was going to take much longer that expected. So I am between two worlds.

The sad things is that a guy I have been hanging out with has been helping me a little but not nearly enough. I feel funny asking him to do more; but even funnier knowing that he know it’s messed up and hasn’t mentioned anything.

Each weekend, I dedicate time to do it but the the time gets eaten up w/ chores. Not to mention that I work six days a week, with double shifts on Fridays so often I’m just too tired.

Today also I had blocked out some time. But one of my jobs is having a Christmas party and I am going to that to get wasted. I deserve it.

Can’t seem to upload an 45 min DVD to any sites? I need to edit it too, but the format seems to be holding me up. Anyone have any ideas what to do with .VOB format?

I have so much to upload as evidences for my state certification in educational administration. I can’t figure out how to edit/post all these crazy-long videos that I have of me teaching in-services. . .

Procrastination is a mother. Especially when you think that you’ll just start doing something simply b/c it needs to get done.

I have been making tiny baby steps though. I cleared my desktop and am trying to back up some really important files on my LaCie and on a DVD.

12/1 is the deadline. I should be thinking of a design. My mind is blank. I think I am going to just let it flow.

I don’t want to have a pre-set design and then become frustrated bc I can’t achieve that result in the time period given.

Ok. For sure my new website has to be up and launched by 12/1/07!

Since my designs are going to be distributed worldwide in the magazine and cd, I really have to make sure that my website is worthy of attention.

I started reading the CS3 Flash webside mini-book and I think that is going to be extremely helpful. I just have to make time to do it.

Well, the good news is that I created a PhotoShop Web Gallery. The bad news is that I can’t get it to run on my website. The site administrators were only marginally helpful.

This sucks b/c I’ve spent 2 weeks creating images for this really cool gallery.

If anyone can help pls let me know!
