Finally I went to a dance class last week and again this week. At the first I thought ‘Why am I doing this?’ but enjoyed the second and it was an improvement.

How I did it: Step one, remove critisizing individuals from your lifeStep two, introduce positive people into your lifeStep three, down alcoholStep four, listen to rap!Step five, dance like you don't give a fuck! If you excert confidence, no one will look at you and think wow, what a tool. They will be envious of the GREAT time you're having. And goofy dance moves like throwing the dice and the robot are always fun. Read how I did it…

How I did it: learning to dance is one thing but not being embarassed about it is another. you have take what you know add your own thing and work it. and dont care what other people think. i know it might be hard, but just try it! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was so desparate to learn that i reached every person who knew dance, to teach me dancing. Here's how i danced "First time" - There were 2 guys who were ready to teach me how to dance ( after lots of follow-ups :) .. one fine day i reached his home. And we put a stereo... The music was great, and they started dancing and told me to follow them. I was just looking at them, and feeling deeply shy. But i gathered all my courage and jus… Read how I did it…

How I did it: It really wasn't all that hard for me to actually dance since I dance all the time and I used to live the ghetto part of town with a part of my Hispanic step-family. I know it sounds like I'm stereotyping, but it's true. Otherwise I probably would have never watched all those music videos. But actually dancing in front of people was a gradual thing. Eventually, it built up to actually going to a school dance and now people think I dance s… Read how I did it…

It’s kinda sucky, when you’re a teenager and can’t dance. I think it’s all confidence and how comfortable you are about your body. Me- it’s the fear of people thinking I look stupid or weird. Since the whole “high school” years are over, and it’s on to college- I doubt I’ll have to worry about this one much anymore. Plus, I just don’t care. Dancing all stupidly with my friends and having fun is the best. People’s opinions of what’s “good” dancing at my age is basically acting like a whore. And I don’t want people to get that impression from me anyways. So I’m not going to say that I’ve “learned” how to dance- but I’ve gotten better at the confidence thing. I’ll keep this goal up until I actually dance in public, I suppose :p
There are salsa dance classes being offered near my work starting next month… it’s pretty inexpensive and says that you don’t have to bring a partner. I’m thinking about signing up :)
