Unless I can get training equipment… there is no fly ball team in our area :(
How to get involved in flyball
How I did it: I took classes in Indianapolis. It took 2 years to get one of my dogs ready for competition. It is a lot of hard work, but is rewarding.
Find a team or a place to train. It isn't really a sport that you can learn on your own. There are a lot of nuances that need to be taught. Your dog must go over 4 jumps, hit the flyball box to release the ball, and run back to you over the 4 jumps, passing a dog. It is a relay sport.
It is fun and exciting. You bond not only with your dogs, but with your other classmates and team members.
