How to camp on the beach by sjm1020

"super fun. I will do it again... soon!"

How I did it: The fam and I went on vacy to the obx. Instead of renting hotel rooms, we camped in a tent.

We borrowed a tent from my husbands parents. We did this to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and would do it again. We didn't want to waste our money buying a tent and never using it again.

    dad’s a fan of the great outdoors so we’d go on month-long camping trips, it was a lot of fun but got rather lonely at times coz we were otally cut off from everything, news, music, civilization … it used to drive me a little crazy :)

    I went camping on the beach when I was like, 15, 16… We all fell asleep out there, and when I woke up there was just the MOST BEAUTIFUL sunrise ever. It was just, the sun was shaped as big as a beach ball, and it was the softest peach color, and there were colors in the clouds that reminded you of primroses, and carnations. The ocean was flat and sparkely, it was just one of those things you can never get out behind your eyes… We were very damo and cramped and eaten up when we woke, but the sunrise made it worth it… _

    Nestled in my green sleeping bag at Imperial Beach in So Cal. Waking up to the surf and the sun rising-couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

    I think this is worth doing especially if you can find a secluded beach(not part of a state park and not private).Just do it!

    Total relaxation! I loved it. The crazy thing is that I camp all the time for my work, but even on my off days, I miss sleeping under the stars.
