start trying for another baby

We’re not doing this now. Enough is enough.

I added this goal early on in my 43t experience. Since then, I kept seeing it, and it bothered me, since it seems to read, not simply, innocently “start trying for another baby,” but instead a bold goal to “have lots and lots of unprotected sex.”

But then, how to solve this problem? I couldn’t get it off the list, because if I said I was giving up, I’d be lying, and if I said I’d done it, it would get even worse: “I am CURRENTLY having lots and lots of sex.”

Anyway, now that I’ve managed to make it even more embarrassing than it was to begin with (since certainly only a prude like me would think of it in those terms anyway), I’m going to say that I’ve (we’ve) done it, and rather successfully, I might add, since baby #2 is due in March 07. ;-)

If I decide I want to eventually go for #3, I will definitely not be putting it on here.

So many things I want to do before the next baby! Get in shape. Research pros/cons of getting a midwife vs. an OB. Find a larger house. But the clock is ticking, I’m getting older every second.
