and not sure how I’d go about it anyway, sounds too complicated.

funnyvalentine Is learning how to trust (herself) again.

Maybe it doesn't count, but...I proposed to Foppa when I was 14 1 year ago

For our non-Swedish/non-hockey-watching audience, “Foppa” is Swedish for “Peter Forsberg” (actually, it is the Swedish way of shortening anyone male’s last name…if their name is Forsberg…into a nickname, but I digress)...

Then there was this kid Travis in 3rd through 8th grade, who I asked out desperately at least 1000 times. He had olive skin and lime green eyes…I mean, please. A hormonal girl can only handle so much!!

Hmm…then there was a man I loved very very much…who I will not say anything else about…who, along with Travis and Foppa, rejected me. Please, please join in my pity-party. ;)

But it is DEFINITELY worth it!!! Mr. Forsberg gave me his autograph…he signed everything I had with me, and he talked with me for a few minutes. Coolness. And, aside from that, it made me realize that, no matter their reaction, I still had me, and who cares about their reaction anyway? It’s about the thrill as much as the answer…or at least it is for me.

I have had a successful attempt as well, once, in Denmark. He was the singer in the band.

Well, that’s going to take a lot to reach this goal! Either I don’t find guys really interesting / exciting / interested in going off beaten tracks, either I am plain shy with the few I am attracted to… Wonder whether I am being too judgemental or difficult, mmmh..

Gulp! Little challenge here.. Could be really good though, handling rejection, yeahh! And at worse, somebody could accept, which could be funny..
