How I did it: I started by getting a referal from my doctor to the weight watchers meeeting, I would never have gone without this, I learned to watch what I ate, support from other like minded people. I started with walking and graduated to road running then I joined the gym as winter set in Now I ensure I get plenty of exercise and keep focused,

Well, I only lost half the amount I wanted by the end of this month, but it was still well worth it and I want to conitnue – to maintain and to loose a little more.
I have lost about 3 kilos, since I started. I am very happy with SparkPeople, they give me the motivation I need. But I seem to have reached a plateau. Well, I ate too much last week, I don’t sleep enough and I don’t drink enough water and I stopped going to the gym. I guess, if I improve those, it should go better.
I finally found some kitchen scales I liked 2 days ago. So my nutrition tracking over on SparkPeople should become a bit more accurate.
I am quite pleased so far, happy actually! I lost about 3 kilos since I started, simply by downsizing my portions and being a little more aware of what food are high in calories.
I am very pleased about finding SparkPeople, what a nice and very useful site! I even got one of my colleagues signed up, although I do the tracking for her, as she is computer and internet illiterate. But so far it has been an eye opener for her, to see, where her calories are coming from.

I put on about 8 kilos in the past 2 years. Too much of the good life – I love to go out for dinner. They are starting to bug me and have to come off, in a nice and healhy way, permanently. I have never dieted before and would rather achieve this by changing my eating ahbits than be radically reducing my food intake. I have joined www.sparkpeople.com, to help me achieve this goal by the end of August.
I am allergiy to dairy products, I should also cut down on wheat, yeast and gluten. But I don’t see how I can do that in Egypt. We’ll see!

I stopped dieting and lost the weight… go figuire. As soon as I was able to have what ever I wanted I stopped eating so much.
