write a knitting pattern

It was a super simple pattern, so I decided to just do it. Now it’s online.

It was fun to learn more about knitting patterns and I hope to improve my knitting and my patterning and do some more of these.

I’m only a beginner knitter, really, but I’m already making up my own patterns. I need to learn to write them down and share them.

I’m playing with 43 Things and doing two things—listing goals and going through and clicking on stuff I have done. It’s fun to not only make goals, but realize you’ve accomplished things other people want to.

On that note, I’m working on writing a knitting pattern. I’ve gotten to the sleeves of the sweater I am working on and I’m still keeping notes on what I am doing. What do people want in a knitting pattern though? What makes it good for you?
