More proof that I’m the best there ever was!

I just moved into my new little Yankton house, and the real estate agent was nice enough to throw in a kitchen. I had no idea these places existed until now, I actually thought they were called food-type-preperation-areas and that they came with blow torches. And so then I got to watching V for Vendetta and I saw them making an ‘egg in the baskett’ and thought it might be an easy and delicious thing to start cooking. Well, I was right, but only after the fire department made me buy an actual frying pan (I thought that with those flat glass oven tops you didnt need to use a pan).
I wish there was a Obi-Wan Kenobi for cooking so that he could tell me, “You’ve just taken your first step into a larger world.”

I never thought it would happen to me. But one CSA and Deborah Madison’s Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone later, and I am a homebody. It is a lifestyle, cooking is, slowing down and enjoying the process of making your own food.
