owner of honda rebel learn to ride 16 months ago

I got my moto May 2008, its being a trill so excited to actual learn to do this. It is alot harder than I thought an I was doing alright till I droped my bike.
I had to get up get back which I did. I got it back to my house an did some reading on what I did wrong. I found a few sites that offer encourgement. I still tend to over think and have struggle to get on it with confindence. I take my motorcycle safety class August 1st so one week away. I am hoping that the class will show me and give back the confindence to get on an go.

I’ve got a new Ninja coming in…I’ve been practicing on my hubby’s, but I’m not very good. I’m taking a class over the 4th of July weekend, so I hope it helps.

the goal was to get one, and now it’s to learn to ride it!

The battery is still good 2 years ago

but its on the trickle charger. I took a photo, then accidentally erased it. If we ever get decent weather again, I’ll be learning to change the oil next.

I better hurry up and get into an MSF class before they fill up.

Stopped by the nearest MSF venue to inquire about classes. 2 years ago

But they just referred me to the Department of Motor Vehicles. I’ll try, but last year the DMV certainly did not list this venue (though I could see with my own eyes that beginners classes were taking place.)

HMMM. This place is just a half a mile away. I want to take my classes here!

a few more things to pick up:
oil/synthetic oil?
oil filter
motorcycle cover “motoboss”
trickle charger “battery tender waterproof”

Also, joined an online group of other Honda Rebel owners today. This is sure to be a great resource, especially for questions like whether my bike can use synthetic oil and other maintenance questions.

A whiff of spring in the air today 2 years ago

I can’t wait, I can’t wait, I can’t wait!

First things first:
trickle charger
get a decent pair of boots (mail order or new place on post road?)
msf class signup (b’port or here?)
review for written test
permit (only good for 60 days so not yet)
insurance (progressive, geico?)
registration (not sure I can register it w/o license – find out)
road test (at MSF)
license

I took the MSF class in June 06 2 years ago

But didn’t pass the test. Need more practice, that’s all. But I also twisted my ankle real bad, so I figured it wasn’t the right time to try again. Couldn’t even hike most of the summer. Some things you have to be careful about.

After taking a rider’s course, 3 days, and $100 later, I finally learned.
