for the yoga nidra meditation. At the conclusion of the meditation I’m working in some creative visualization as well focusing on what I want to experience. I’ve been getting some really good art ideas in that “twilight” time before falling asleep. I’ve been dashing into the kitchen to sketch and write notes so I remember the next day what I was thinking!

When I do this meditation at night I feel more rested the next day. And also more calm, less irritated by small things. Which is great for the “move up the emotional” ask-and-it-is-given scale.

the last several nights; its the Xenia Splawinski version. The first version was fairly short but I really liked it! Last night I listened to the second version, slightly longer and I really liked the imagery.

last night. Her voice is pleasing – but the pauses to do things like “repeat your sankalpa to yourself powerfully three times” are not nearly long enough. Briefly sampled the second meditation I downloaded (while waiting to pick up Max at school) and although the gentleman’s voice was pleasing enough in the soundbite available on iTunes I found that prolonged exposure to it was not relaxing. Tonight will try the third (and longest) version of the meditation.

I will do this every night. I downloaded 3 different guided meditations so I’ll find a favorite then stick with that one for awhile.
