make a five year plan

But I know it’s a necessary one. I always assume I’ll figure out what to do with my life, by and by, but it never happens, and years go by and I’m still unemployed or in a crappy job and not sure what to do.

To start, in five years I’d like to:
- be enrolled in law school or another program of study I’ve chosen upon (if I haven’t already graduated from said plan of study)
- be playing music SOMEWHERE, even if it’s at the most amateurish open mic around

- crap, as I’m writing this I realize I have no idea what I want to do. I don’t want to be careerless and still in school in 5 years. I’d like to be at least starting in a career I want to be in…I have to give this more thought.

i want to be fluent in french

of writing up my 5 year plan. i dont know how long itll take, but am super excited to put some goals into the works.

I am drifting without a course and i want to set a course.

Great to see I’m not the only one with an ‘FYP’ (Five Year Plan). My FYP is a condensed and realistic list of goals I want to achieve before I’m 30, my first goal being getting my driving licence which I achieved successfully and was a great confidence booster.

My over goals are getting more qualifications, learning, improving my appearance, broadening my horizons and getting a job.

Have made a start on this. Am working out 2008 (or remainder thereof) and 2009 with the headings: Travel & Culture, Financial, Career.
Will obviously think of others things to add and make modifications. So far so good!

-drum lessons

-make out my living will
-trip to Spain/Barcelona
-pay off $10K debt
-savings=$6K
-new wardrobe built
-paint bedroom
-paint sewing room

-complete knitted swing coat

-close MH
-weight 137 lbs.
-scrub old computer disk and donate
-exterior parging
-fireplace finishing/mantel
