5K walk

I am including the link to where you can see the professional pictures that were taken of me at the 5k event. Next time I will have to NOT use my cell phone for taking pictures. It slowed me down and made for some real dorky professional pictures. :(

I crossed the finish line. It took me only a little over an hour.

I did the Carlsbad 5000, in Carlsbad California yesterday April 9, 2006. It was the 1st 5k competition that I have walked. There is one in Long Beach that I plan on attending in October this year also.

The banner that we are standing behind was the starting point.

I attended 2 5k walks but was late to both of them. There were other events there too. My son participated in one of the events at the 1st one. At the 2nd one I was in time to do the 10k, so I did it instead.

I want to attend more 5k’s, and this time be on time, so I can participate in the event I sign up for.
