invest in property

well, I’ve owned one house previously, and sold it ten months after buying for a $50,000 profit to pay off my student loan. I’m 25 now and my aim is to start my property portfolio by the end of this year, having purchased one house (a rental). I figure if one house can be purchased each 1-2 years (at the very least) then we will be on our way to a retirement fund. However, I am nervous about all the hassles of renting to others, even if we work with a property management company. And all the issues that become yours with ownership (the pipes being blocked, the dishwasher dying etc). Feel the fear and do it anyway, though, right? :)

A holiday is a funny thing. It makes you just sit back and asses everything in you life and together with the new year makes lives change. After this holiday I am gonna get together with my dad and brother to buy a property at the same place we had our holiday. Its a big holiday tourist area so we shoudl get a decent return om the investment. I think this will be a great start to the year and a great adventure.
