spend more time with my friends

again last week. Well, the club never really took a break over the summer, but people were busy and I don’t think anyone had an August meeting, lol.

We talk about the book for maybe 5 minutes and then we spend the rest of the time talking about everything else under the sun.

definitely doing well with this one, also got a contract phone now and a blackberry which is really making this easier. have friends staying at the moment too, phoning friends more, emailing, and just spent time away with friends in the royal navy, so have new friends too. plus, meeting more people whilst out dog walking and starting to settle in to a new area, etc. oh, and i discovered twitter, so that has been fruitful.

said hello to some friends through face book, not done that in ages. great to hear their news.

I’m not sure if it’s really all about the more friends the merrier!

I’ve went from just a few close friends, to a lot, and I’m working my way back down to a few close few again.

Sure, Derek & I have a TON of friends. I just don’t consider them the ones that I would want to hang out with all the time, or the ones that know “everything” about me type of thing.

I think that it’s more of a tons of distant friends, like on facebook, and there is just still a hand full of friends that I/we want to hang out with on a more personal basis.

Derek and I have found that we are very happy with just being together, and mixing in friends from time to time. It’s just what kind of couple we are, and we won’t apologize for it.

Friends are a great thing, I am blessed to have so many, I guess I just don’t think that I feel the need as much as before to have quite so many, but my goal was to spend more time with the ones I do have, so as for that, than I guess you could say that, yes, we do that!

finally caught up with my house mate, she got back from work late and not very well. But think she is great and she even brought me home an ice cream from mcdonalds which i thought was very kind! Great text from another friend, and loving my urnu friends, they are ace. great to be surounded by like minded folk.

spent some time with a newer friend today, was lovely.

blooming brilliant weekend away with my mate Tish for the LAMM. definitely something I need to do regularly to keep me focused for med school.

spent an hour chatting to my mate Tish, and off to do the mountain marathon with friends this weekend..good times.
