I will buy a second hand Mazda MX-5 for the start of the year 2011.
It will be a second hand model from 2007.
Love that car.
How I did it: Lots of seaerching the first time. I bought an NA, and had to find one that was perfect. I finally found a '94 C-Package with R suspension and only 36,000 miles on it, I had to take it! My wallet was $6500 lighter, but it was well worth it.
Later I bought a brand new '06 Mazda MX-5 Sport. There were a lot of incentives on them, so I just went down to my local dealer, found one with everything I wanted on it, and a couple days later I had my new car! Nearly 50,000 miles later I still love it like it was new.
Lessons & tips: Quit delaying! Miata's are super cheap, super reliable, and have low, low insurance. Almost anyone can afford one as a second car, but I used mine as my primary car.

Once the weather turned for the better, I have been driving everywhere with it. It is such a fun car to drive.
I have barely had enough time to enjoy my Miata on account of the weather. But the little time that I have driven it makes me glad that I went for it. I am excited about the spring and summer and fall… I can’t wait to take trips with it.
This has been in my 43 things for quite a while now. I am in the process of getting mine. It’s in the final stages so by next week, I should be driving around in it.
