Well my parents planted them, but I watered and picked them, so it was a team effort.
Zucchinis seem to have a relatively short season, but when they are in season ohhhh mammmaaa! If you don’t pick them every day, they grow to the size of a newborn baby before you even notice they are there.
You end up giving them to all your friends and finding all kinds of zucchini recipes – zucchini soup, zucchini cake, zucchini fritters, zucchini slice, zucchini quiche, zucchini balls, zucchini stuffed with mince…and then all of a sudden they are all gone.
