my hair is so thin and damaged…its hard to grow it past my chin without looking thin and straggily …I want it to grow past my shoulders and look good. The first step is to really improve my diet by eating a lot of protein, fruits and veggies, taking vitamens and eating omega-3 oils. I am also going to get a shower filter to get the chlorine out of my shower and use better hair products. The very first thing I need to do however is get it cut :( it stinks because my hair is actually getting somewhat long – but I heard that it is important to get rid of the damanged parts or else the damange starts traveling up. I need to make sure to get a tiny trim every 8 weeks or so to keep the damage away. with this trim im hoping that i can get my hair past my shoulders (n looking healthy is the key because right now its almost to my shoulders but too thin) in 6 months so by february. too bad hair also grows slower in the winter

How I did it: It felt like a lifetime to get it past my shoulders my hair used to be longer when my mom did my hair but when i started doing my hair myself i damaged it really bad so basicly i cut off about 3inches of hair and go a leave in conditioner treatment to repair the damage a bit then i got rid of all the blowdriers and such my hair grows about an half a inch a month my hair is only 4 inches below my shoulders but it looks better than it did before Read how I did it…

How I did it: When I first added this goal it was pretty important to me. When I first added this goal I had so little respect and self love that I thought if I could achieve this, life would be good, I would look hot, my man would stay in love with me....etc etc etc boring.I have learnt a lot about myself since then. I have learnt that growing your hair isn't really a goal in itself. Maybe it should be under "find a outer style that reflects the inner… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I waited, as patiently as I was able. I refused to let anyone else cut my hair, and only trimmed split ends when I felt it was necessary. It was difficult, during the first six months, to keep it trimmed enough in the back to NOT look like I was developing a mullet. =) Read how I did it…

Ok well I’ve been taking one multivitamin and five sea kelp tablets a day for the last couple of months and its definitely growing faster than usual. Its now sort of resting on my shoulders. Hopefully by the summer it will have grown to armpit length. Anyway, I’m going to carry on with the vitamins + only use semi permanent instead of permanent hair dye so theres less breakage.

I want to shave my head to a buzz cut whilst standing in the middle of my office.
My head feels extra heavy and I really want my bangs cut. Maybe I would be happy with just a little trim (plus bangs). I should really wait though. My hair is past the length it was before my last trim, which is great. So I could trim without losing too much, but I still want to keep the momentum. Maybe wait until after the RNC? That seems like a good plan.
I usually get my hair to just past my shoulders and then I wind up cutting it off. But, I’ve made it past my shoulders several times.
So far my hair is at my shoulders, which is the longest it’s been in quite a while. The great part is that I have no urge to cut it. When it’s gotten this long before, I’ve been itching to cut it off, but I think I’ll be able to hold out this time.
I think i should get my hair trimmed soon because i dyed it and should do something nice for it, and start putting conditioner on the ends, I haven’t used that stuff in so long!
