get eyes tested

did this today – was passing by in shopping centre so just went in! The opt. said all is good – don’t need glasses and everything is fine! Sweet – didn’t take long, was bulk billed so didn’t cost anything and only thing that was weird is the air spray thing!!! So glad done now!

no real reason to do this except that I haven’t before and feel it might be useful!

I got my eyes tested and got new glasses that are great!

I picked up my new glasses today and I love them. They are going to take a while to get use to but they are great and I am happy with them.

I went into town today to book an appointment for next weekend but they had a slot available then so I had them done there and then.
I then got help picking out a pair of glasses and I paid for them. I got scratch and glare resistant lenses and also an advanatge card which covers my glasses against damage and things like that and also gives family and friends a 10% discount off their glasses.

My glasses are like a bronze colour and I like them. I tried loads on and looked in the mirror and they looked horrible but when I looked at them in the mirror they looked amazing :O)

and I want a pair of designer glasses as they sometimes look so much better than the normal ones that are like £70 each. Designer ones start at about £100 and go up to £200 in most shops.
I would idealy like contacts but at the moment I can’t really afford them so I will go with glasses as I need a new pair and will have a pair when I have contacts anyway for those days when I don’t wear my contacts.
So I was saying to my dad that I couldn’t really afford to buy any with my summer plans of the concerts and visiting friends and what I need some as the ones I have now don’t really suit me and one of the lenses have a scratch and they are well worn.
Also I need a new prescription too so I might as well get some glasses.
I was putting my eye test off as I didn’t have the money for new glasses and I didn’t want to buy a cheap pair that I didn’t really like or suit because I need a new pair.
so I was very happy and surprized when my dad told me today that he was going to buy me the glasses of my choice when I get my eyes tested :O)
I just hope he is more helpful with me when it comes to choosing them this time as I don’t want to end up with another pair that don’t suit me and look right because he wants to get out the shop.

So now I need to book somewhere for me to have my eyes tested and then I can get my designer glassses and then I can start my driving lessons :O)

I need to find somewhere soon as I want to start my lessons at the end of the month.
When I go to town this weekend I will try to find somewhere to go as they need doing and the longer I wait the longer I have to wait for lessons and I don’t want to keep waiting to have lessons so I need to get my ass moving!

as I am due to start learning to drive and I might need a new prescription so I need to get my act together and get an appointment in the next few weeks.

and have gotten a letter through saying they need doing. I don’t want to go to Spec Savers though as they are rubbish and I feel they are only out to get money and sell glasses so I want to go somewhere else.

I need a new pair of glasses as I have a scrach on the lens and also I don’t like the ones i have and don’t think they suit my face shape.
I need help picking frames as my dad wasn’t much help last time. I am also hoping I can get contact lenses this time too….fingers crossed :O)
