We had a picnic in the park today. It was nice but cold. It’s a shame cos the weather’s been gorgeous lately. Typical! We still had a picnic though, saves on washing up so we’ll do it again.

I’m in the best city ever, sitting in my apartment with the windows open, a slight breeze coming in every now and then, sipping a coffee. It’s quiet, peaceful… despite the fact that today is the Marathon de Paris… and theres supposed to be a high of 81˚ today. Life is good. Really good. And spring is beautiful. 6 years ago

Oooh, a fabulous day.

We were up fairly early so went for a potter on the moor, well on the path on the moor, i could probably go off road with the buggy but it might be more trouble than it’d be worth.

Anyways, we wandered round a little pond looking for frogspawn. Obviously we didn’t see any(i’ve spoke to my dad since we got back and he reckons we’re way too late for frogspawn) but we saw toads mating!!! And also some single toads not mating(aw), or at least, not mating yet. So, the plan is to go back in a day or two and see toadspawn, Yay!

Also saw forget-me-nots! I love forget-me-nots. When i move house and get a garden i so want forget-me-nots in it. And, the bluebells are coming out in my front garden, its not much of a garden but i love bluebells too.

Its looking a lot like spring and has really warmed up this week. We even had an ice cream in the park yesterday.

I’m loving the spring, and it’s only just sprung.

I’ve just been for a lovely walk up a hill, it’s not far from my house but you really feel away from it all. The sun is shining, the fields are full of baby lambs, the snowdrops are out, it was just perfect. Apart from a dead squirrel, eurgh! 6 years ago
