dlchick *What I desire desires me as well*
take her to Disney this next summer. I think I’m going to have a big tax refund, fingers crossed.
How I did it: I've always thought of taking her to Disney World for her birthday. It so happened this year I was able to do it. I had saved my vacation and money, and was able to take off from work for a week. I kept talking about it until I got tired of hearing myself talk about it so I did it :)

is to take her next summer after my first year of teaching (and her first grade year). I think that would be a good age, I really want to take her while it will still be so magical to her. This kind of trip is something that I would have only dreamed of when I was little, and I really want to do it for her. Hopefully I can save up money to go after school is out in Summer 2010!
Lets see… how much does it cost? I’ll estimate around $2000 for the 2 of us. Soooo… I’ll need to save around $160 per month OR be sure and not have anything planned for the child support money when it comes (IF it comes…) in May. It’s around $1800 for the back pay for the entire year (sad, right?) that gets held out of his taxes because he doesn’t pay monthly. Anyway, that would cover a large chunk of the cost. The only thing is that I only get it if he has a refund that big, and to get a refund he’d have to have a job, which I don’t think he does.
Hmmmmmmm. Welp I guess I should plan to save that $160/month just in case, eh?
This one makes me so happy!
Now I have a 3 month old daughter, Adrien. Someday when she’s older, we’re going. I love life :]

and I will certainly take them too but I think the trip will be more exciting for my daughter!
I wanna give her this to her as a gift, she loves disney and this would be the biggest, best gift ever… I wanna give her a memory she’ll never forget.
I promised her that I would take her to Disney world if she would learn to read. she did. I haven’t taken her yet. Don’t have the money. I HAVE TO DO THIS.
I saw this one and thought, Oh I wanna do that! Only problem is, I don’t have any children yet. So… When I doooo have a daughter, I want to take her to Disneyland!
I visited Disney World in 1979 (I was 6) for the first time. Ever since then I’ve vowed to go back. Once my daughter was old enough to understand I promised her I would take her someday.
This past summer we finally made it happen. The 50th Anniversay was going on and of course the crowds were insane. The heat was in the high 90’s all week long and I had to pop the blisters on my feet each night in the hotel room.
But when I saw the look on my daghters face when she saw Mickey Mouse…
Totally worth it.
When I was five my parents took me to Disneyland. It was magical. When each of my sons turned five I took them to Disneyland. It was magical for them as well. As of January 1, 2007, I will be debt free. My first goal is to take my daughter to Disney World. She will be eleven, but I hope we can still capture the magic.
