get the top of my ear pierced

I got an industrial bar through the top of my left ear. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing..30 bucks and I had the time. The only bad part is that I think it hurt more than the tattoo and the nose piercing put together. Basically the guy just shoved a thick piece of sharp metal through my ear with his thumb, without ice or anything. Probably not something I’ll ever get on the other ear, but I love the way it turned out.

well i had the top of my ear done twice cos the first time it got infected…the first time i got it done it was with the gun (ouch!)the second time i got it done with the needle and it hardly hurt except when the cbr(captive bead ring) was put in. i just keep a sleeper in it cos then i dont have to keep changing the jewelry haha

If I got the top pierced it would be my third. I have snake bite piercings on both ears. One was done by a jeweler with an earring gun. The other I pierced myself. I thought about piercing the top of my ear myself, but the cartilidge is hard there. And it took me 8 minutes (saying ow ow ow ow) each to pierce the lower part of my ears myself which don’t have near as much cartilidge. I think I need to have someone with an earring gun give me the top piercing. It takes less than thirty seconds. I’m a pain wuss. I want it over faster.
