How I did it: I visited www.atlasquest.com to get started finding letterboxes in my area. I already had a rubber stamp (store-bought, not hand-carved, sadly) to use and a handmade paper book to use as my logbook. My first time out, I tried to find three different letterboxes, and had no luck on the first two. When I found the third, it made it all worthwhile! Read how I did it… 2 years ago
Just found out about this yesterday, and I am REALLY excited to get started. I plan to look for one at Heckler Plains this afternoon after work, since I have a half-day and I’ll be right around the corner. Hopefully it’s still there and I will be able to find it! 2 years ago
My friend and I went letterboxing at two different places. The first was very easy to find, yet it was enjoyable. I actually felt a bit of a rush when we found the box. The second was difficult and we walked way past it (it was on a hike). We were running out of time so we had to turn around and go back. By sheer luck we ended up finding the box after all, and noticing all the clues we had missed on the way! 3 years ago
Spent a full day out in some contained wilds. Met a lot of bugs and ducks and turtles, and one letter box. Since that was the point, I cant complain. Don’t feel much motivation to go out again though. 5 years ago
