The mother in law I knitted them for didn’t like them enough to keep them. She gave them back to me to fix them. . .or get rid of them.

I finished one and realized I absolutely hate the yarn I’m using. I don’t know why I keep settling for this awful yarn—I think I need more self-esteem. Alas.
Back to the drawing board, I suppose.
I’m working on armwarmers right now—slightly simpler ‘cause there’s less shaping and my wrists/forearms are pretty small. Doing it freeform, which is a little nerve-wracking … if they fit, I’m moving on to legwarmers, finally.
I always found that knitting came to me much more easily in the winter, I’m half way through making legwarmers for my sister in Montreal, hopefully I can finish in time for the cold!
I’ve learned to knit and I’m trying now to knit legwarmers for the winter coming up… I hope I do good
The circular needles that Gwen has are impossible to use, and I am too uncoordinated to handle double-pointed.
ONE DAY. ONE DAY.
