    It’s the easiest linux / GNU distribution I’ve installed. I put it on a laptop that’s at least 5 years old, and it didn’t have any hardware issues at all. It connects using a wireless card that is equally as old. There is plenty of free online support for it as well.

    I just wish I had a faster laptop. :-)

    I bought a used laptop for $350 and a $20 NIC and everything just worked.

    I had a minor issue trying to figure out how to ascertain the essid at local Wi-Fi hot-spots until I installed ‘wifi-radar’ via synaptic.
